I appreciate joinery, color and detail in the furniture. Dovetails, mortise and tenons and lock miters act both as strong joints and carefully considered features. I seek out those unique pieces of wood that nature has dyed in unexpected ways. I carefully select bright red padauk, high contrast light yellow and rich black and purple poplar (I’m now calling Rainbow Magnolia), red orange cherry and deep purple walnut. Rest assured that each bevel, each proportion, each angle, and each material has been overthought and I have enjoyed every step of the process, except the pricing.
